Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) and the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), saw Gray's Creek's soccer squad knock off Pine Forest by a count of 3-0.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Whiteville by West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a battle, on Wednesday, September 4. Pine Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
