Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) and the host Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI), saw St. Francis's soccer squad prevail over Suttons Bay by a count of 5-1.

The Gladiators (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI). The Braves enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Tawas Area tipped Roscommon (Roscommon, MI), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Norsemen battle the Hart Pirates (Hart, MI) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 23. Suttons Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI).
