The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the visiting Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA), observed Banks County's softball team get by Social Circle by a final score of 5-2.

The Leopards (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The go into the 1A D-I Region 8 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy was routed by Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 14-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 23. Social Circle will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Commerce (Commerce, GA).
