North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes over Martin County

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Holmes Aces volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Martin County Gators.

The Aces (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Gates County was beaten by Camden County (Camden, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gators meet the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Martin County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Pitt (Bethel, NC).
