The Goddard Rockets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Lovington Wildcats to 0 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rockets now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Portales for a non-league outing on Monday, August 25.
With the loss, Lovington drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
