With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Webster County (Dixon, KY) to meet the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Braves now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLean County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26.
