The Westlake Thunder soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Copper Hills Grizzlies to 2 in the Thunder league victory on Thursday.
The Thunder now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Ridge for a game on Tuesday, August 26. Westlake will face a Sentinels team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-2.
The Grizzlies (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Miners go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Bingham nudged Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
