The Aztec Tigers soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Grants Pirates to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Los Lunas was overwhelmed by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.
