Maine High School Soccer - Washburn nudges Fort Fairfield

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Washburn Beavers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Fort Fairfield Tigers.
The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Crusaders enter the Class D - North outing with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) in a Class D - North test, on Tuesday, August 26. Fort Fairfield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Washburn (Washburn, ME).
