Ohio High School Soccer - Johnstown-Monroe knocks off Licking Valley

In Thursday's league outing, the host Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Licking Valley Panthers.
The Johnnies (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Bloom-Carroll edged Logan Elm (Circleville, OH), 9-0, in a league test.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Licking Valley will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
