North Carolina High School Volleyball - Newton-Conover Bandys

The Newton-Conover Red Devils volleyball squad (Newton, NC), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's league test with the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC)

With the win, Bandys improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-0.

Next, the Red Devils meet the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Newton-Conover will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC).
