Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), observed Penn's volleyball team hold off Chesterton by a count of 2-1.

The Kingsmen (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Warsaw was edged by Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrean for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. Chesterton will encounter a Fighting 59ers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 0-1.
