The Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team (Wilkesboro, NC), was tipped 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC)

The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Chase was tipped by Burns (Lawndale, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Wilkes Central will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Blackhawks go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC).
