Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) and the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), saw Albemarle School's soccer squad triumph over Kerr-Vance Academy by a score of 11-0.

The Colts (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC). The Griffins come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech achieved victory over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 9-3, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host The Oakwood School for a NCISAA Tarheel test on Tuesday, August 26. Kerr-Vance Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
