In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Griffith Panthers.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers edged Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkhart for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Griffith will clash with a Lions team coming off a 0-0 league Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
