The Lawton Wolverines got by the visiting Altus Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 9-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Lawton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK).
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Noble (Noble, OK). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Noble got by Western Heights (Oklahoma City, OK), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
