The Bartlesville Bruins softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Putnam City West Patriots to 0 in the Bruins non-league win on Thursday.
The Bruins now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muskogee for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Bartlesville will confront a Roughers team coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK). The Roughers record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, Putnam City West drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, August 25. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-2.
