In Thursday's non-league match, the host Leedey Bison softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Mooreland Bearcats.
The Bison (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Caney (Caney, OK). The Cougars come into the Class B match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Caney was routed by Caddo (Caddo, OK), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Bearcats now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Caney for a non-league game on Friday, August 22. Mooreland will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Caddo (Caddo, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
