The Morris Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Liberty Tigers to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a 3A battle on Monday, August 25. Morris will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Jones (Jones, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Liberty drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Prue (Prue, OK) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 5-5. Prue won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Foyil (Foyil, OK)
