The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) and the visiting Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), observed Milton's softball team get by Roswell by a tally of 4-2.

With the triumph, Milton improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to face the Longhorns in a 5A Region 7 contest on Monday, August 25. The Longhorns enter the contest with a record of 3-4.

The Hornets now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Seckinger for a 5A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, August 26.
