Oklahoma High School Softball - Okarche bounces Velma-Alma

In Thursday's league match, the host Okarche Warriors softball team scored a tight 11-7 win over the Velma-Alma Comets.

The Warriors now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayre for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Okarche will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Hammon (Hammon, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Comets (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Marietta (Marietta, OK). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record.
