In Thursday's league match, the host Riverwood Raiders softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Sequoyah Chiefs.

The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region 6 match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Woodstock notched a victory over River Ridge (Woodstock, GA), 6-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a 5A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, August 26. Sequoyah will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
