In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Brownwood Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brady Bulldogs.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Llano got by City View (Wichita Falls, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Early Longhorns (Early, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Brady will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ballinger (Ballinger, TX).
