With the win, Pierce County improves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Bears host Appling County (Baxley, GA) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Appling County won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wayne County (Jesup, GA)

Next, the Herons meet the Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Brantley County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The EAGLES come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA).
