The Center Point Pirates held off the host Knippa Crushers volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host San Antonio Memorial for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. Center Point will play a Minutemen team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Minutemen record now stands at 6-5.
