In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Poinciana Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Central Pointe Christian Academy CPCA.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Celebration (Celebration, FL). The Storm come into the 7A District 7 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Celebration went down by Gateway (Kissimmee, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The CPCA now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harmony for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Central Pointe Christian Academy will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-2 league win over St. Cloud (St. Cloud, FL). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-1.
