Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Sumter Central will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
