Ohio High School Volleyball - Crestview over Newton Falls

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) and the visiting Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH), saw Crestview's volleyball squad notch a victory over Newton Falls by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Crestview improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rebels host Liberty (Youngstown, OH) to encounter the Leopards in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey battle on Monday, August 25. The Leopards go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Liberty won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bristol (Bristolville, OH)

Next, the Tigers meet the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 25. Newton Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH).
