Texas High School Volleyball - Cypress Creek over Sweeny

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) and the visiting Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX), observed Cypress Creek's volleyball team top Sweeny by a tally of 2-0.

The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Sweeny will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lee (Baytown, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
