Alabama High School Volleyball - Hoover tips Daphne

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), observed Hoover's volleyball team hold off Daphne by a count of 3-2.

The Buccaneers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ocean Springs for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. Daphne will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-0 league win over D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS). The Greyhounds record now stands at 10-2.
