In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting South Lyon East Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Divine Child Falcons.
The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Holt (Holt, MI). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Holt went down by Portland (Portland, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Croswell-Lexington for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Divine Child will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Montrose (Montrose, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-3.
