In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Edison Chargers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Tesoro Titans.
The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Saints enter the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Crean Lutheran nudged Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Titans now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corona del Mar for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Tesoro will face a Sea Kings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 5-2.
