In Thursday's non-league match, the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a final score of 3-2.

The Golden Hawks now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Apex for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Holly Springs will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
