Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bengals (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Elks/Elkettes play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 26. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM).
