Tennessee High School Volleyball - Gibbs can't get by Halls

Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN), 3-2 in a league outing.

The Red Devils now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Halls will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 9-4.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Irish go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Father Ryan was edged by Nolensville (Nolensville, TN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
