The Bears (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, West Laurens was beaten by Veterans (Kathleen, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Statesboro will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Beach (Savannah, GA).
