Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Huron advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Chiefs host St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI) to face the Falcons/Kestrels in a Huron test on Saturday, August 23. The Falcons/Kestrels go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverview for a Huron test on Monday, September 8. Jefferson will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
