The Lamar County Trojans prevailed the visiting Spalding Jaguars volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin for a 1A Area 2 match on Tuesday, August 26. Lamar County will confront a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 0-5.

The Jaguars (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record.
