Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the West Trojans (West, TX) and the host Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX), observed West's volleyball team top Lindsay by a tally of 2-0.

The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Robinson went down by Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godley for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Lindsay will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alvord (Alvord, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
