The Livingston Academy Wildcats edged the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN) in a AA District 7 outing, on Monday, August 25. Livingston Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Upperman (Baxter, TN).

With the loss, Watertown drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Purple tigers travel to Independence (Thompson's Station, TN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, August 22. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-1. Independence lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN)
