The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) volleyball overcame the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league contest.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Tigers enter the Mountain State contest with a 0-0 record.
