Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Skiatook Bulldogs (Skiatook, OK) and the host Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK), observed Skiatook's volleyball team top Oklahoma Union by a tally of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles go into the Green Country battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah was defeated by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berryhill for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Oklahoma Union will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Catoosa (Catoosa, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-2.
