With the win, Portola improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Foothill (Santa Ana, CA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 4-2.

The Tillers now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Diamond Bar for a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. Tustin will meet a Brahmas team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Brahmas record now stands at 6-2.
