Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) and the visiting Snook Bluejays (Snook, TX), observed Poth's volleyball team top Snook by a count of 2-0.
The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brazos (Wallis, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Brazos was knocked off by Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
