With the win, Woodville-Tompkins improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 3 test on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-4. Toombs County lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA)

The Bluejackets now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah Country Day for a 1A Area 3 challenge on Wednesday, August 27. Savannah will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-4.
