North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Brunswick over West Brunswick

The South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Fear Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3.

Next, the Trojans battle the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Carolina Coast 6A/7A contest, on Tuesday, August 26. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
