The South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets held off the visiting Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Hornets now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Dixie for a A Region 2 outing on Monday, August 25.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Kentucky School for the Deaf (Danville, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
