The Sumrall Bobcats topped the host South Jones Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Bobcats now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host West Marion for a non-league outing on Monday, August 25. Sumrall will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 10-3.
The Braves (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 5A Region 3 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Natchez was dropped by Terry (Terry, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
