Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Universal Academy Falcons (Tampa, FL) and the host Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans (Riverview, FL), observed Universal Academy's volleyball team top Winthrop College Prep Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against American Youth Academy (Tampa, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, American Youth Academy was knocked off by Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Bell Creek Academy Panthers (Riverview, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 25.
