High School Volleyball - JV Opponent tips Metcalfe County

In Monday's non-league contest, the JV Opponent (, ) volleyball squad edged the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the battle the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 23. JV Opponent will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy (Windsor, NC).

With the loss, Metcalfe County drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Clinton County (Albany, KY) to battle the Bulldogs in a contest on Tuesday, August 23. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
